Welcome in Twenty twenty

Hoi lieve Fanssss,

GELUKKIG NIEUWJAAR!!!!!!!!

Ik hoop dat jullie net zo een toffe new years eve als mij hebben gehad want bij mij was het een feestje hoor! Ik heb deze avond gevierd met mede au pairs uit Frankrijk, Denemarken, Italy en de VS in Balmain East(Dit is tegenover de Harbour bridge aan de niet opera kant). Hier hielden we een picknick met onder andere zelfgemaakte appelflappen, hebben we gezellig gebabbeld en genoten van het vuurwerk om 00:00. Het vuur werk was echt geweldig, want je staat daar dan met 1000 onbekende mensen samen naar het vuurwerk te kijken allemaal met een frisse kijk op het nieuwe jaar. Nou kan je wel zeggen dat ik wat traantjes heb gelaten en kippenvel had van het prachtige moment. toch was het wel echt heel raar dat ik al in 2020 zat en iedereen in NL bezig was met hapjes maken, oliebollen halen en opmaken voor de avond die zojuist al had beleefd.

Dan een van de leukste momenten tot nu toe denk ik in Australia met mijn eigen familie via facetime was 1 januari 10 uur in de ochtend, toen was het dus in Nederland 00:00. Ik heb dus eigenlijk 2 keer het aftel moment gehad, want ik heb dus met hun samen kunnen aftellen. Dat was echt heel fijn en vind het kei leuk dat we dat gedaan hebben <3

Maar deze dag was voor mij echt een drukke dag want net zoals in Nederland hebben we hier met een heleboel Dutchies de nieuwjaarsduik gehouden op Bondi beach MET ORANJE UNOX MUTSEN. Wat was dat super leuk met alle Hollanders, daarna hadden we ook nog een heerlijk feestje in de Cargo bar in Sydney. Lachen joh hahaha met echte Hollandse Carnaval muziek maar ook Marco Borsato en Nederlandse rap kwamen voorbij. 

Gelukkig heb ik genoeg stranddagjes gehad om weer helemaal bij te komen en kleuren van alle feestdagen. Nu word het ook weer een stuk rustiger en kijken we allemaal uit naar midden Januari want dan gaan we op vakantie naar Blackhead (Dat ligt net onder New Castle, ongeveer 3 uurtjes rijden). Jullie horen snel weer van mij en nogmaals GELUKKIG NIEUWJAAAAR!

Hello Dear Fans,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope you all had an amazing new years eve because mine was awesomee! I celebrated this evening with other Au pairs from France, USA, Italy and Denmark. We did a big picknick at Balmain east with a beautiful view over the harbour and the bridge. So we all brought food and had a nice evening and enjoyed the fireworks at 00:00. The fireworks where amazing, The feeling that you are standing there with 1000 of people sharing the same moment is just unbelievable. So I had a lot of goosebumps and tears in mt eyes from this beautiful moment.

And then one of the best moments on facetime I had with my family was the first of January at 10 AM, because in the Netherlands it was 00:00 around this time. So I had a second counting down moment with my family and that was just amazing, Im so happy that we did that :)

So that was a good start of the new year and a new day because the first of january I had a big event at Bondi beach with all the Dutchies in Sydney. In the Netherlands we have a tradition that you are diving in the cold and freezing water of the North sea just to begin the new year with a fresh dive. So we did it to but then at Bondi beach including our Orange beanies :) After this we went to the Cargo bar and had a nice party with Dutch party music and it was a great night.

After all the parties I'm fully recovered with some beach and relaxing days. So the next few weeks will be not that busy but we have a vacation coming up and Im super excited about it! Talk to you soon and again HAPPY NEW YEAR!
